CLOSING DAY!

We are closing today, Labor Day. We are so thankful for all the patronage and support this summer. Please continue to look for updates and new information. We are already looking forward to being ready to open Memorial Day 2011! See you then!

END OF THE SEASON HOURS

The end of the season is quickly encroaching - please take advantage of all the pool hours that you can. We have regular hours ( M-H:12-5, 6-8, F: 12-9, Sat & Sun 12-8) until school starts. From September 1-3, we are open from 4-8pm. On our last weekend, the Labor Day weekend, we are open from 12-8 each day. Please come and join us at the CAAC in Columbus, Wisconsin.

Summer Splash

The CAAC will be hosting a "Summer Splash" party at the pool on August 28th. Games and activities will be held ( greased watermelon races, coin searches, tug-o-war teams). Please mark your calendars to come to this great family event.

'CUDA CAFE - Our Concession Stand

It was requested that we post the variety of items that can be purchased at the "Cuda Cafe".

We have 16 different ice-cream and frozen treats.
We have hot dogs, chips, chicken strips,and soft pretzels.
We have candy, beef jerky, and string cheese.
We have cans of soda, water bottles,and Gatorade.
We have cappuchino, coffee, and Slush-Puppies.

BUT, MOST IMPORTANTLY ... ALL of this is no more than
$2.00 each item!

AGAIN...the weather stops our lessons

This morning the storm cell is prohibiting us from having lessons. MAKE-UP lessons will be held Saturday (tomorrow) morning at your child's scheduled time.

Lessons are canceled this morning...thunder surrounds us!

So sorry, but with bad weather surrounding us this morning in Wisconsin, the CAAC is canceling our swimming lessons this morning.

Swim Team Success

Without a doubt, the 1st annual Mack Jensen Swim Invitational was a success! Congratulations to Coaches Kerry Rossow and Ali Roberts for their fine efforts.

Special Hours Saturday, July 17th

We will be hosting the 1st annual Mack Jensen Swim Invitational this weekend on Saturday. We will be closed for open swimming until 2pm. Thanks for understanding and allowing for us to hold this great event.

Friday Family Fun Nights

Hey all: Friday night is the night to bring the toys, floaties, and energy to the CAAC. Every Friday night we allow contolled chaos with toys at our pool. The times are from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Swim Lessons Make-Up Date...

This Saturday, June 29th, we will be holding a make-up date for swimming lessons that were missed on Tuesday due to our maintenance issue. Lap swimming will be scheduled from 8-9:30 AM, with lessons following.

GUARD START!

So, you are an avid swimmer and considering the idea of being a lifeguard someday? Consider signing up for the Guard Start class. It is the new and improved curriculum for Jr. Lifesaving. See the pool front desk for details or check out the summer school registration forms sent home by CES/CMS.

MAY 28th - Opening Day!

There is water in the pool warming up in anticipation of the first day of swimming. We will begin our regular posted hours June 8th after school.

Swim Team Details - The Mighty Cuda

Kerry R. Rossow has agreed to once again coach the fabulous 'Cudas Swim Team. Practice will begin in early June after the final days of school. Our practice will be held in the early mornings (7AM - 8:30AM). We are coordinating with summer school the best we can to avoid any family conflicts. All ages are encouraged to join our team. There will be a family meeting on June 11th in the evening - details to follow.

Please feel free to start registering for swim lessons, swim team, memberships, and water aerobics anytime. The forms are now available at Columbus City Hall. Anne, Lana, Pat, adn Barb are more than happy to assist you with any registrations.

Winter turns to Spring!

As our snow melted, it revealed lots of hard work that was done at the CAAC last fall, and revealed lots of things/work for us to do NOW! Don't be surprised to workers starting the process of organizing and cleaning our fantastic facility.

City of Columbus Resident:

- Couple ............$120.00
- Individual ........$65.00 (ages 1 and up)

Non-resident:
- Family ............$190.00
- Couple ............$140.00
- Individual ........$75.00

(Manager's Editorial Note: You could easily spend more than $175.00 on a single visit to an outdoor waterpark visit in the Dells or you could have access to this facility all summer long... AND our staff is friendlier and ice-cream treats are cheaper!)

SWIMMING LESSONS - 2010

We are again offering American Red Cross certified swimming lessons at the CAAC. Our classes are held in four seperate sessions which last two weeks, Monday - Friday. Please call the CAAC if you have a question about availability. Currently, all sessions are open. Alll times remain constant for all four sessions.

Session I - June 21 - July 2
Session II - July 5 - July 16
Session III - July 19 - July 30
Session IV - August 2 - August 13

Levels and Times:
* 8:30 - 9:15 AM (Levels 3-7)
* 9:15 - 10:00 AM (Levels 1-7)
* 10:00 - 10:45 AM (Levels 1-7)
* 10:45 - 11:30 AM (Levels 1-7)
